Have you ever been in a place in your life where you kept saying, “This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me?” Then a situation worse then the previous happens? It’s happened to so many of us so many times. But, the difference is when you know that God will turn around what is meant for your demise, all of the sudden there is hope! However, when you are in the middle of a bad situation it doesn’t seem that way does it?
In Genesis Ch. 50 v. 20 Joseph finds himself in a situation that may have appeared to be the “worst thing ever.” But what God knows that we sometimes forget is that He has the authority to turn around any and all situations for you and for me. Joseph knew one of many things of God and he shared that with his family. Upon reunion with his brothers who sold him into slavery, Joseph shared something amazing with them. Joseph said, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Can you imagine that? The most humiliating event for Joseph caused by others who were supposed to love him unconditionally, God used for His Glory and Joseph’s good.
Whatever you are encountering today, be in a place of God by faith, having a hope that Jesus is who He says He is! He is your redeemer, and He will bring you out of every storm, big or small.
Speak it! Say it out loud, Thank you Jesus for turning (fill in the blank)___________ around for my good, because I choose to be in your presence in your place of victory! I will hope in you! In Jesus Name, Amen!
Question? Are you in a place of God?
